I was looking for a Personal Trainer after having 2 hip replacements and wanting to improve my flexibility, core strength and overall fitness. Ruth really listened and understood my needs and tailored a programme accordingly. I now feel much fitter and more flexible and have continued with a programme of 2 sessions per week. My wife has now also joined in as she was so impressed with Ruth’s attitude and programmes. Ruth always changes up the exercises so that you are never bored and she ensures that you get a full range of exercises across all muscle sections. We would thoroughly recommend Ruth as a dedicated, experienced and enjoyable person to train with.

Sluggish and feeling the effects of a lack of consistent exercise, I knew I needed the help and motivation of a personal trainer. I have had personal trainers in the past but I feel as if I have struck gold finding Ruth! She suits me perfectly. I know Ruth would be a great trainer for a person of any age, but for myself (60+) it was important to me to find someone who would understand my goals. She’s patient, yet always encouraging, and has helped me achieve a confidence in my abilities which “Pre Ruth" I wouldn’t have thought possible! Every session is different. She has a vast knowledge of hundreds of exercises which means sessions never get boring or repetitive. Her exercise studio is well equipped in beautiful surroundings and this, together with the fact that Ruth is a lovely person and a fun trainer makes the whole thing a real pleasure.

I've been training with Ruth since 2018 and she pushes me every session. I've lost weight but more importantly, inches everywhere!. I've gone from not being able to do a plank to now holding one for 3 minutes. My own competitive nature means I keep pushing myself but Ruth always manages to find the right balance to challenge me and keep me motivated and wanting to return every week. During lockdown she's adapted to Zoom and with the limited amount of equipment I have, still finds new ways to make me sweat. I consider her more than my PT but a friend as well. We have competed in Triathlons together and she has helped me achieve personal bests at Park Run. Her confidence in my ability has even seen me Deadlift my own bodyweight!
